Cancellation Policy
1. Authorization of Payment:
Upon placing a booking, the customer's payment will be authorized but not immediately captured. The transaction will only be completed upon confirmation of the booking by the service provider (valeter).
2. Confirmation of Booking:
The valeter has the option to manually accept or reject each booking. The customer will receive notification of the valeter's decision within the stipulated period. If a booking is confirmed, the authorized payment will be captured.
3. Rejection of Booking:
In the event that a booking is rejected by the valeter, or a customer rejects an alternative date proposed by the valeter, all holds on payments will be released immediately. No financial penalties or administrative fees will be incurred by either party for booking rejections.
4. Cancellation Charges:
Once a booking has been accepted by both parties, the following cancellation charges apply:
Customer Initiated Cancellations: A cancellation fee, amounting to 10% of the total booking cost, will be deducted from the refunded amount due to administrative handling.
Valeter Initiated Cancellations: The valeter will incur a cancellation charge equivalent to 10% of the booking's value. This fee will be applied to the valeter’s subsequent invoice, and the customer will receive a full refund.
5. Timing of Decisions:
Both the customer and the valeter are required to finalize their decisions regarding the booking within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the initial booking request. Failure to confirm or reject the booking within this timeframe will lead to an automatic cancellation, and the authorized payment will be released without any penalties to either party.
6. Amendments to Bookings:
Any amendments proposed by the valeter to the booking details, such as changes in date or time, must be approved by the customer. If the proposed amendments are not accepted, the booking will be treated as cancelled and managed according to the terms specified under section 4.
This policy is intended to ensure that both service providers and customers engage with our platform under clear and fair terms, promoting reliability and trust in our services. It is the responsibility of all parties to review and adhere to these terms upon using our platform.
